Both of our suppliers were Multiyork’s original suppliers. So we truly can offer a like for like replacement.
We have a number of filling options available for your replacement sofa cushions and interiors. Keep reading to find out a bit more about each one:
This is the firmest of our seat cushion interiors and most resilient, it will spring back into shape as soon as you stand and offer lots of support whilst sitting. Foam requires minimum maintenance and gives a tidy, neat appearance.
There are two types of foam available. firm and soft. Soft foam is still firmer than foam wrap. Over time with age and use the foam will soften.
A foam core in the centre with a fibre type wrap as the exterior, this cushion interior gives a flawless blend of firmness and comfort, but with a more relaxed appearance than our foam seat interior.
Duck feather is a traditional, luxurious interior which gives a relaxed look and a sumptuous sit. Duck feather is a higher maintenance option needing regular plumping to retain shape.
Channels within the interior keep the feathers spread evenly throughout the cushion so you can be sure the cushion is at optimum comfort levels.
The blend of Duck feather and premium foam gives a relaxed look and sit. The foam blend helps the cushion to maintain its shape whilst you still get the feel of a feather cushion.
Channels within the interior keep the feather and foam blend spread evenly throughout the cushion, and the foam provides the added bonus of reduced maintenance.
A non-allergenic fibre suitable for those with allergies to feathers. The filling tends to recover its shape more readily than feather and just needs to be plumped occasionally.
Similar to feather, channels within the interior keeps the fibre spread evenly throughout the cushion.
If you have been happy with the comfort your cushions have provided over the years and it is only now that you are starting to notice some discomfort. It is likely that the discomfort is being caused by wear and tear on the cushion interiors from heavy use, rather than the cushion material of filling itself. If this is the case for you, we would recommend replacing your sofa cushion interiors with a like for like filling.
If you are unsure what cushion filling you have now, please email us a photograph of your original Multiyork documents and/or a photograph of the label which is attached to you cushion interiors. If you are looking to get the both the seat and back cushions please send us a photo of the label from each cushion type. This is because it’s not uncommon for the seat and back cushions to have different fillings.
If you fancy a change in fillings – either something firmer or softer than your current interiors – and you’re not sure on the best option, a member of our team would gladly help.
